Dr. Peter Blauwhoff, CEO, Deutsche Shell Holding GmbH

Peter Blauwhoff has been Chief Executive Officer of the German Shell Holding GmbH since 2008. He holds a PhD and has studied process technology. From 2004 to 2008 he was Programme Director of Shell International Petroleum Company Great Britain and from 2001 to 2004 Director Group IT Infrastructure of Shell IT International in the Netherlands. From 1998 to 2001 he held the position of CEO of Shell West and Central Africa in Ivory Coast.

Wolfgang Müller-Pietralla, Head of Future Research and Trend Transfer, Volkswagen

Wolfgang Müller-Pietralla has been head of Future Affairs and Trend Transfer at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, Germany. The biologist was responsible for the development of a companywide environmental management system and afterwards for the development of AUTOSTADT as an adventure park and communication platform of the Volkswagen Group. For his current function he is researching future developments in society and technology as well as their translation into future scenarios. In addition to his work at Volkswagen, Mr. Mueller-Pietralla is giving lectures at the Free University of Berlin.
